English isn't my first language, and while I'm fairly confident in my ability to use it, I realise the way I construct my statements may not be the most natural. This definitely isn't helped by my (former) obsession with overt, unnatural verbosity as a comedic device, the use which used to be intentional, but has kind of become a habit.
